Directions to the Watauga County Center

HIGHWAY 421 FROM WILKESBORO

When coming to the Watauga County Office, follow Highway 421/King Street through downtown Boone.  Go through the traffic light at Water Street, and travel 2/10 of a mile.  The office will be in the Agricultural Services Center (red brick building) on the left side of the road.  (The street address is 971 West King Street.)

When coming to the Agricultural Conference Center, follow Highway 421/King Street through downtown Boone. Turn left onto Water Street. Go to the end of the street, and turn right onto Poplar Grove Road.  (Southern States will be on the corner.)  Travel 1/10 of a mile, and turn right into paved driveway when you see the "NC Cooperative Extension" sign (252 Poplar Grove Road).

HIGHWAY 321 FROM LENOIR

When coming to the Watauga County Office, follow Highway 321/Blowing Rock Road through Boone. Turn left onto Rivers Street (at the Holmes Convocation Center). Travel through ASU Campus, and turn right onto Water Street. Go to the traffic light, and turn left onto Highway 421/King Street.  Travel 2/10 of a mile.  The office will be in the Agricultural Services Center (red brick building) on the left side of the road.  (The street address is 971 West King Street.)

When coming to the Agricultural Conference Center, follow Highway 321/Blowing Rock Road through Boone. Turn left onto Rivers Street (at the Holmes Convocation Center). Travel through ASU Campus. HIGHWAY 105 FROM LINVILLE

When coming to the Watauga County Office, follow Highway 105 into Boone. Go through the intersection of Highway 105 and Highway 105 By-Pass. Turn left onto Poplar Grove Road (beside Fun-N-Wheels Go Cart Track). Follow Poplar Grove Road approximately 1.6 miles, and turn left onto Poplar Grove Connector. Turn right onto Highway 421/King Street, and travel 1/10 of a mile. The office will be in the Agricultural Services Center (red brick building) on the right side of the road (971 West King Street).
