Watauga Cooperative Extension will have an information table set up at the

9th ANNUAL EARLY BIRD WILDFLOWER WALK & PLANT SALE
12 NOON – 4 p.m., MAY 7TH, 2016

Located at the Daniel Boone Native Gardens at 651 Horn in the West Drive, Boone, NC 28607.

We will conduct a children’s activity, where kids can decorate a pot and plant it with a small plant to give as a gift for moms or whomever they would like!

We will have information to hand out on native plants, pollinators, soil testing, and other useful topics. Master Gardeners will also be available to help answer gardening questions.

The Daniel Boone Native Gardens Board sponsors local growers in the 9th Annual plant sale for May 7th from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Many vendors will be in the parking lot to sell their specimens and events will be scheduled in the Gardens. Among the events:

Wildflower Walks

Bake Sale courtesy of the local Garden Clubs

Plan to bring the family and have a fun-filled outing.
