There will be a Small Ruminant Grazier’s Workshop offered on May 20, 2017 at the WNC Livestock Center in Canton, NC. The workshop is from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with an optional farm tour from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Registration and payment must be completed through the North Carolina Cattlemen’s Association website. The cost when registering before May 12 is $10, and $20 thereafter.

Watauga County Cooperative Extension will be taking a van to the workshop, leaving from our Ag Center at 7:30 a.m. If you would like to reserve a spot to ride to the workshop in our van, please call the extension office at 828.264.3061. Space in the van is limited, so call early. Note that there is no additional fee to ride along, but you must still register and pay online for the workshop through the Cattlemen’s website.
