 2/15/18 A&T AgriShop Workshop – van traveling from Watauga

The Cooperative Extension at NC A&T will be presenting a Small Farms AgriShop Series across the state on potentially productive and profitable small farm enterprises. The workshops will consist of the following demonstrations/presentations:  Plasticulture, Mushroom Production, Silvopasture, Artificial Insemination, Good Agriculture Practices (GAP), and the Economics of Farming, and Season Extension via High Tunnels.

The Western AgriShop will take place at the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research & Extension Center in Mills River on Thursday, February 15, beginning at 8:30 a.m. There is no charge for growers to attend. Rides will be available as well for up to five participants via an Extension van departing from the Watauga County Extension Office at 6:15 a.m. on Thursday, 2/15.

The registration deadline is officially January 26, 2018, but the organizer tells me that she can accept registrations at the link below until Tuesday, 1/30.
