Grafting tomatoes is becoming more common among both gardeners and farmers across the Carolinas due to the plant’s higher productivity. Grafting lends many benefits including disease resistance and higher vigor resulting in a better-quality product and optimum marketable yields. Many varieties of tomatoes can be grafted and choosing the best scion and rootstock for your growing environment is key.
Join CFSA, Rose Mountain Farm, and Cooperative Extension as we learn more about grafting, how to graft tomatoes and get hands-on practice! A $10 registration fee covers both lunch and materials.
