N.C. Cooperative Extension, Watauga County Center will host our annual fruit plant sale.  Order forms will be made available beginning February 1st, with plants being delivered the 2nd week of April.  We will be selling several varieties of raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, grapes, asparagus, and heirloom apples.  The heirloom apple varieties will include all the well known varieties such as Wolf River, Yellow Transparent, McIntosh, Virginia Beauty and Swiss Limbertwig.  We will also have other varieties such as Liberty, Smokehouse, Williams Favorite, Newtown Pippin, American Golden Russet, and Grimes Golden.  All plants will be bare root, except for the blueberries.  We are still working on our plant descriptions and order forms, but are not expecting any major price increases from last year.  If you ordered before or are on our mailing list, you should receive the order form by email.  Hard copies will also be available in our front office.
