2023-24 Herter O'Neal Scholarship Application Due March 20, 2023

Applications are being accepted for a $1000 scholarship offered by the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Administrative Professionals Association (NCCEAPA) through March 20, 2023.  The scholarship is available to North Carolina residents pursuing a college degree (Associate's and/or Bachelor's degree) in business or a business-related field of study.  Applicants must be enrolling/enrolled to attend classes at a college during the 2023-24 school year.  This scholarship is open statewide, with one $1000 scholarship winner being selected from eligible applicants.  District finalists not chosen for the state scholarship will receive $250.

The scholarship is awarded annually to honor the work and dedication of Edith Herter and Frances O’Neal, co-leaders in forming the NCCEAPA in 1973.

The completed application and two reference letters (from other than family members) must be received no later than March 20, 2023.   For Watauga county, you can mail the completed application to the address on the application:
