Poultry Processing Workshop Scheduled for April 27th

N.C. Cooperative Extension, Watauga County Center is excited to announce a Poultry Processing Workshop on April 27th beginning at 9:00am at Watauga High School. This workshop will begin with classroom instruction on topics including basic flock management, processing procedures, and becoming a poultry exempt operator in NC. Lunch will be provided, then attendees will have the opportunity for hands-on processing practice, including deboning.

Registration for this event is $25 per person which covers the cost of supplies and lunch. This workshop satisfies the training requirement to rent the Watauga County MPU.
