Payment must be brought to the Extension Office within one week of registration to hold your spot. Cash (exact change) or checks (made out to "Watauga County") can be brought to 971 West King Street between 8am and 5pm.

ALL YOUTH MUST BE ENROLLED IN 4-H ONLNE TO PARTICIPATE!

What is Summer Fun?

Summer Fun is just a series of different educational, hands-on day camps during the summer! Examples of Programs (not guaranteed programs):
  • Forestry Camp (Learn about Forestry Industry and what jobs are related to the industry.)
  • Horticulture (Learn more about home gardening and community gardens.)
  • Livestock Judging (Learn about livestock judging.)
  • Bee Keeping (Learn the importance of the honey bee and other pollinators.)
  • Cooking (Learn food safety, preservation and nutrition.)
  • Farm Tours (Visit local farms and learn where your food comes from!)
  • Electric (Learn about simple circuit boards and other electricity related topics, tours, etc.)
  • CloverBud Camp (Day program specifically for our CloverBuds : Ages 5-7.)
