BRWIA Farm Tours 6/16 and 7/14

Blue Ridge Women In Agriculture is excited about the newly designed Farm Tour this year.

These days are a way to build community around the local food movement many of us have been working so hard to strengthen. After all, one of the best ways to create a long-term locavore is by seeing first-hand the hard work and dedication that our local farm families put into growing food.

Each Farm Tour day will include a guided bus tour of four highly successful local farms that range from a beginning incubator farm to a century, multi-generation family farm. The Watauga Farm Tour will visit a woman-owned farm, and enjoy an artisan brick-oven pizza dinner (vegan & GF option available) at a biodynamic, animal-welfare approved farm.
