Watauga Extension Professional Landscape Day

Attention Landscape Contractors, Pesticide Applicators, and Certified Arborists

Event details and online registration

Don’t wait until next spring when you are busy, to earn your recertification hours for the 2019-20 cycle. N.C. Cooperative Extension of Watauga County will provide an opportunity to earn all 7 required landscape contractor’s recertification credits for the cycle ending July 31, 2020. 2 required hours of business classes are included. In addition, you will be able to earn 3 hours of pesticide recertification in the L, N, D, X categories. We are also offering 1 hour of credit for ISA Certified Arborists.

The event will be held at Blowing Rock Conference Center on Thursday, October 3, from 8:15 a.m.–5 p.m. The conference center is located at 1818 Goforth Rd, Blowing Rock, NC. There will be various vendors who sell landscaping supplies and equipment that you can visit with during lunch. Lunch will be provided, so to help with planning, please register by calling the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Watauga County office at 828-264-3061 or online through the event page. There will be a $15 charge to offset event costs which can be paid at the door. If you do not need landscape contractors license hours and cannot attend all day, you may attend just the classes you need. See schedule for times and credits you can earn.
