Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Course Informational Meeting

Are you interested in joining a network of passionate gardeners across the state who are dedicated to learning and sharing research-based information, enhancing their communities through horticulture, and connecting people with the benefits of gardening?

N.C. Cooperative Extension of Watauga County will be offering the Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteer training course beginning March 10, 2020. It is a 14-week course, with approximately 45 hours of class time. An informational meeting on the mission and goals of the program, and the requirements for taking the course, and becoming a Master Gardener℠ volunteer is scheduled on Tuesday, January 28 from 10–11 a.m. (in case of inclement weather the meeting will be rescheduled to February 4.)  It will be held at the Watauga Agriculture Conference Center at 252 Poplar Grove Rd.
