Pesticide Recertification Classes Offered in August 2021

For private pesticide applicators still needing their required 2 hours of training in each of the X and V categories prior to the September 30, 2021, recertification date, the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Watauga County will offer two final classes this August.

On August 24, 2021, from 3 to 5 p.m., there will be a 2-hour “V” credit training, and on August 26, 2021, from 3 to 5 p.m., there will be a 2-hour “X” credit training. The class on August 26 also qualifies for credits in the categories A,B,D,G,H,I,K,L,M,N,O,T.

Classes will be held at the Watauga County Agricultural Conference Center at 252 Poplar Grove Road in Boone. Have your license number with you and please make sure to arrive prior to 3 p.m. and plan to stay for the full 2 hours of training to receive credit for the classes.
