Come join the youth of Watauga County and our new 4-H Agent, Susie Douglas, for a chicken show! The show will be held at the Watauga County Agricultural Conference Center on November 18th, 2023. If you plan to present a bird please arrive by 8:30 a.m. to check in. The show will begin at 9:00 a.m.
This is open to all youth, ages 5-18, as an event to show off that chicken you are so proud of! If you have never shown a chicken before but are interested in learning or participating in this show, pleas join us on October 26th at 6:00 p.m. in the Ag Conference Center for some hands on learning. Please email Susie if you plan to attend.
You can register for the show through 4-HOnline once you have been enrolled in 4-HOnline.
Each presenter is limited to 3 chickens. Each presenter must bring a carrier to contain birds unless being presented. Parents are required to stay.
